The LLM Booster for Regional Innovation and Digital Growth in Europe project (LLM-BRIDGE) supports European startups and scaleups in the fast-growing domain of Large Language Models (LLMs).
The LLM-BRIDGE project aims to strengthen national GenAI ecosystems by equipping startups, scaleups, incubators and investors with the support needed to build and deploy LLM-driven products.
The project brings together a consortium of partners from ten European countries, coordinated by the Alliance for Language Technologies (ALT-EDIC). The partners’ complementary skill sets in supporting startups and AI-driven innovation are bolstered by their technical expertise in GenAI and LLMs. This capability helps participating startups and scaleups to integrate LLMs responsibly and at scale. Together, the consortium will deliver three dedicated support programmes focused on LLMs.
The LLM-BRIDGE Consortium invites qualified incubators and innovation partners to apply to deliver the second cohort of the Venture Incubation Programme (VIP), an initiative designed to accelerate the emergence of European start-ups developing LLM and GenAI solutions (co-funded under the EU Digital Europe Programme, implemented by 28DIGITAL). One incubator will be selected to run a 12-week programme helping early-stage start-ups validate markets, refine business models, and prepare for the LLM-BRIDGE Acceleration Programme.
The LLM-BRIDGE consortium invites 16 market-ready European scale-ups (TRL 8–9) developing GenAI and language technology solutions to join our free, 14-week Acceleration Programme (co-funded under EU Digital Europe Programme Grant 101226136, led by 28DIGITAL). Selected companies will receive tailored business optimisation, European HPC infrastructure access, regulatory/compliance guidance, and Series A investor readiness support.
The LLM-BRIDGE consortium has selected Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini (FGB) as the incubator to design and run our Venture Incuation programme (VIP). Over the course of 12 weeks, our partners at FGB will oversee and mentor 29 early-stage startups developing solutions with GenAI, LLMs, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies. Five of the top-performing startups will receive 25 000 euros to support their growth and development.
